WHAT’S NEXT? – Head of a Terrier
This animal sculpture of a head of a terrier was based on my own dog which is a miniature Schnauzer. They all have such characterful heads – often tilted to one side as they look at you with their dark and loving eyes. Butter could not melt in their mouth!
I sculpted this animal sculpture in clay and then had it cast in bronze with a verdigris finish. It is mounted on a Portland stone base and sits on the desk in our sitting room. Sadly our dog, Truffle, has recently died, so this bronze sculpture gives me a lot of personal pleasure as it reminds me of him as I walk past the sculpture every single day.
