GIRL POWER – Racehorse and Jockey
Whilst this was a commission, the bronze equestrian sculpture demonstrates a general sentiment of strength in the relationship between horse and rider. They are shown walking in the ring, possibly after the race, so there’s a feeling of calm and reflection from both parties. Its a fairly traditional composition, with certain details showing, such as the jockey’s hair, and goggles, and elements of the saddle but no bridle….as the connection comes from the hands of the rider and reigns weren’t needed to show this. Sometimes, less is more.
Finishes: Please note that the images shown are purely an indication of how a piece may look and the colour of the finish may vary.
